About the Trainer

Jean Wang

Licensed Tourist Guide &
ACTA-Certified Adult Trainer

Jean Wang guides in English and Spanish and has over 40 years’ experience in the tourism industry.

Over the years she has led groups and individuals from various countries including Australia, United Kingdom, USA, India, Netherlands, Switzerland and Spanish-speaking countries.

Profiles of her clients vary from families, honeymooners, corporate travellers, government officials, incentive groups and cruise passengers. She offers general sightseeing and specialised tours for subjects such as urban planning, National Gallery Singapore, architectural highlights, World War II battlefield sites, UNESCO World Heritage site - Singapore Botanic Gardens, port of Singapore, old and new architectural gems.

In Singapore, Jean has trained guides and conducts Professional Development Courses for local tourist guides on various topics. During Covid-19, she conducted some of these courses on video-conferencing platforms.

Jean has attended WFTGA Tourist Guide Conventions in Cairo, Bali, Tallinn, Macau, Prague and Iran; and is a WFTGA Lead International Trainer who conducts Hands on Tourist Guiding courses in Singapore and overseas.

Following her participation in a Paris Industry Development Programme conducted by TripSchool in April 2026, she is keen to share her learnings with other Tourist Guides
