Learning Outcomes
Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese practice that focuses on harmonising the environment to promote balance and positive energy flow, leading to improved well-being and prosperity. The goal of Feng Shui is to enhance the flow of qi within a space, whether it's a home, office, garden, or any other environment, to create a harmonious and auspicious atmosphere. It can be applied to various aspects of life, including architecture, interior design, landscaping, and urban planning.
This course offers an introduction to Fengshui and how it interweaves and harmonises with Singapore’s architectural landmarks. It covers the fundamental aspects of Fengshui and the key Fengshui Zones in Singapore. Incorporating Fengshui elements into tours would certainly add value and interest to tourists.
By the end of the course, participants should be able to:
Describe basic Fengshui principles.
Explain the unique Fengshui features in the architecture stories of Singapore.
Curate enthralling architecture tours that inter-weave with Fengshui features with Singapore landmarks
