  2. Learn about storm water management and waste water management with their attendant spin–offs and mitigation measures

  3. Be able to explain how water facilities are developed in tandem with water conservation, anti pollution measures, water pricing and economic development of Singapore

About the Trainer

George Goh

Licensed Tourist Guide &
ACTA-Certified Adult Trainer

George Goh has over 35 years of experience in the engineering and transportation sectors, moving up through various operations and management positions across several companies.

Since retiring, George has dedicated his time to guiding and educating. Highlights include:

  1. Docent at Marina Barrage Sustainable Singapore Gallery (2015 - 2025);

  2. Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore-qualified guide across all Singapore Maritime Trails, Sea Tours, and Raffles Lighthouse Tours;

  3. Qualified guide at Gardens by the Bay conducting nature and sustainability tours for various groups;

  4. Conducting Professional Development Courses (PDCs) for fellow Tourist Guides at the Society of Tourist Guides (Singapore);

  5. Conducting World War II site tours for various groups, including the Singapore Armed Forces and schools; and

  6. Conducting Total Defence Tours for school learning journeys and Singapore Armed Forces groups.

A Singapore Tourism Board-licensed Tourist Guide since 2012, George holds an Advanced Certificate for Training and Assessment (ACTA), and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering.
